TEA Client/Server
CommonGoals Software is pleased to announce the client/server edition. This edition provides significant enhancements in multi-user environments and allows for greater scalability for growing organizations. It also provides better memory allocation since most of the data processing is now done by the server thereby freeing up resources on local workstations. You will see a significant increase in database performance, reporting and data integrity.
Some of the additional features are:
- automated database backup routine
- new loan statistical summary tab
- enhanced loan grid summary
- automated loan collection and delinquency routine
What does this mean?
Automated Database Back up Routine: We have implemented a new routine that will automatically backup your critical TEA databases on a user definable frequency (i.e., daily, weekly, monthly). You can be confident that your data will always be recoverable in case of data loss.
New Loan Statistical Summary Tab: TEA Client/Server now daily populates a new loan summary tab that provides valuable statistics for analysis of individual loan/account performance. Some of the statistics include a complete aging of account, all accrued, paid, written-off and outstanding balances in all transaction categories. Additionally, we have implemented delinquent-days calculation, paid-through date (which tells you the date of the last payment paid in entirety) in addition to other useful summary statistics.
Enhanced Loan Grid Summary: We have also included the ability to modify and add new loan summary fields on the main loan module display grid. The default fields that we have added are collection officer, delinquent amount, delinquent days, paid through date, and outstanding balance. Ultimately, you can easily determine the status of individual accounts at a glance without having to drill down into each loan.
Loan Collection Automation Features: TEA Client/Server allows the assignment of collection officers to specific aging categories. When you employ multiple collection officers, each collection officer is assigned to accounts based on their expertise. Collections officers that are more experienced are traditionally assigned to older accounts due to complexities in recovering these loans.
TEA Client/Server has an automated delinquency routine that executes every evening. The routine is responsible for calculating delinquency days, paid-through date in addition to updating all summary information contained in the Loan Summary tab. It also automatically assigns collection officers to each account based on their delinquent days.
With the implementation of the enhanced loan grid summary, collection officers will find it extremely easy to filter the main loan grid to identify their specific accounts. In addition, as accounts shift to different delinquent/age categories, collections officers will be automatically assigned or reassigned.
